All extrusions are 6061, T6 harden aluminum. The bottoms are made of .125 H32-5052 marine grade aluminum. All interior sheeting is .063 or .090, 5052 aluminum. The hull sides are .125, 5052 marine grade aluminum. A 3" extended skirt is given for low planeing speeds.
All boats are filled with Coast Guard Approved polyurethane foam. The hull features Scandy-Whites 10-year workmanship warranty (work boats carry a 5-year warranty).
The Bateau Boat have either a square bow or a v-bow (2.5 degrees), which gives a larger work deck in the front, is less wind resistant and makes the hull strong. The Open Pro style boats feature a 5 degree V-Bottom with a V-Bow
.
The Bateau Boats can be steered with a tiller handle or stick steering. The Open Pro Style can be steered by tiller handle, stick steering, center or side console. The steering wheel system is U-FLEX, a 3-gear anti-feedback system.
