Elam Stoltzfus, a film producer for nature documentaries is a Scandy-White tunnel hull boat user. The tunnel hull has allowed Mr. Stoltzfus opportunities to film in the back water of the Ten Thousands Islands, the shallow marshes along the St. John's River, the intimate canopies on the Wekiva River and travel along Florida's coastline. It is light enough that the boat can be pushed off the shore when the tides go down, yet heavy enough to tackle the large coastal waterways. Some of the images captured here in Florida reflect "being at the right place at the right time." |
